Norushen supports the raid to defeat the Amalgam of Corruption.
The more Corruption a player has, the less damage they do to the Amalgam. Everyone starts with 75.
Players can enter role-specific Tests that will purge their Corruption to 0 and give them Purified.
Players should enter the Tests in waves to ensure that you can still manage adds outside while maximising boss damage from being Purified.
The only change from Normal is that when Residual Corruption orb pools are soaked, they will give the player a 25 corruption penalty.

The raid doesn't actually fight Norushen, but an Amalgam of Corruption.
Avoid the beam, manage the raid and Tank health, and prepare for the additional Manifestations that spawn at 50%.
EVERYONE
WATCH BEAM
A beam spawns between the boss and a corner of the room and begins to rotate.
Any player caught in the beam will take moderate Shadow damage every second.
Everyone starts the fight with 75 Corruption (max 100).
The more you have, the less damage you deal to the Amalgam of Corruption.
Players can remove their Corruption by entering a Test.
Amalgam applies a stacking debuff to the Tank that increases the damage done by Unleashed Anger by 50%.
Unleashed Anger deals massive Physical damage to the Tank.
Upon reaching (and staying at) 0 Corruption, players gain a buff depending on their role.
- Healers gain bonus healing
- Tanks take less damage
- DPS deal more damage

Players can interact with Purifying Light to Look Within.
Assign a rotation of players to enter the tests.
This will send them to a role-specific Test that, if successful, will purge their Corruption.
This realm cannot be entered with 0 Corruption.
KILL ALL ADDS
IN 60 SECONDS
DPS players will have to fight 1 Manifestation of Corruption and 1-4 Essences of Corruption, depending on how much Corruption they enter with.
These adds will appear in the normal realm when killed.
Manifestations have an avoidable frontal, Tear Reality, that deals moderate Shadow damage.
Essences will cast Expel Corruption, shooting a ball of small Shadow damage in a straight line. This can be interrupted or avoided.
After the player becomes Purified or 60 seconds pass, they will return to the Normal realm with the remaining adds.
Tanks must survive the Test of Confidence against a Titanic Corruption for 1 minute to be returned to the normal realm free of Corruption.
The Titanic Corruptions have the following spells:
Titanic Smash - Avoidable frontal cone that deals lethal Shadow damage.
Corruption - Every successful melee inflicts a stack of Corruption, a scaling Shadow damage DoT.
Hurl Corruption - A cast that deals massive Shadow damage to the target. This can and should be interrupted.
Burst of Corruption - Avoidable ground attack that deals moderate Shadow damage.
Piercing Corruption - Massive Physical damage hit that pierces absorbs.

After the Amalgam of Corruption reaches 50% health, it starts using Frayed, and every 10% health lost, it summons a large add named Unleashed Manifestation of Corruption.
EVERYONE
KILL ADD, SOAK POOL
An Unleashed Manifestation of Corruption appears whenever a player completes the Test of Serenity.
They also spawn after the Amalgam of Corruption loses 50% health, and every 10% health after.
Every few seconds while alive, they will cast Burst of Anger. This hits all players in the raid for a small amount of Shadow damage.
Upon death, the Manifestation will leave a pool of Residual Corruption that pulses moderate Shadow damage.
A player with 75 or less Corruption must soak this pool to remove it.
On Heroic, the player soaking gains 25 Corruption.
When an Essence of Corruption is defeated in a Test, an Unleashed version spawns in the Normal realm.
This casts Expel Corruption, which is a Shadow orb that will buff the Amalgam with Fusion, increasing the damage dealt by 8% for 15 seconds, unless soaked by a player.
