Malkorok has two phases that are on a set timer that repeat.
For the first 2~ minutes of the fight, you will endure the Might of the Kor'kron, where he will use many abilities against you.
Once he reaches 100 Rage, he will enter Blood Rage, only using 2 abilities for 20 seconds until his Rage is depleted.
Tanks must swap for the Fatal Strike debuff.
The raid should be spread throughout the fight to avoid Arcing Smash.
Assign positions for soaking the Imploding Energy.

These abilities are present throughout the whole fight.
All healing is absorbed and converted into an Ancient Barrier on the player, up to 100% of their maximum health.
The Barrier absorbs damage equal to the healing absorbed and can also absorb fall damage.
Healers should aim to keep these shields topped off.
Additionally, the Miasma deals periodic Shadow damage to all players every 2 seconds.

Malkorok opens 3 (10-man) / 7 (25-man) tears around the room that deal moderate Shadow damage to all players within them upon implosion.
If there are no players inside any of the tears, massive Shadow damage is done to all players.
Make sure there is a player in each soak that has a full Ancient Barrier.
Triggers explosions in the areas recently hit by Arcing Smash, dealing lethal Shadow damage.
Remember the Smash locations and stay clear until the phase ends.

This phase occurs between 100-0 Rage and lasts roughly 20 seconds.
Ancient Miasmia and, as such, Ancient Barrier do not work during this phase.
At 100 Rage, Malkorok gains Blood Rage, causing his melees to deal massive Physical damage that can be split amongst players.
He loses 5 Rage per second and leaves Blood Rage upon hitting 0 Rage.
While the raid can stack to share this damage, it is suggested to have a Tank take it alone with layered defensive and raid cooldowns.

Malkorok debuffs random players with a dot that deals Shadow damage every 3 seconds for 9 seconds.
On expiration or dispel, it explodes for massive Shadow damage within 8 yards. The afflicted player is immune to their own explosion.
Move out and dispel only when safe!
