Lei Shen is a three phase fight with two intermissions at 65% and 30% health.
His platform has 4 Lightning Conduits, one in each corner.
When Lei Shen is near a Lightning Conduit, he gains its ability and grants the Conduit Energy.
If a Conduit reaches 100 Energy, it levels up, and its ability becomes more powerful.
In the intermissions, Lei Shen becomes immune, and you have to deal with all remaining Conduit abilities at the same time.
There are 4 Lightning Conduits surrounding the platform.
These have health pools, but cannot be attacked. Each Conduit gives Lei Shen an ability if he is within range of it (30 yards).
Each conduit also has an energy bar. When it reaches 100 Energy, it levels up (making the ability stronger) and resets back to 0 Energy.
You'll need to rotate through the platform, gradually increasing each Conduits Energy, making sure to keep the one you want to disable during the intermission highest.
STACK ON DEBUFF
TO SHARE DAMAGE
North Conduit: while Lei Shen charges this conduit, he gains Static Shock ability.
When the Conduit level increases, the number of players targeted by Static Shock increases, forcing more players to stack to soak.
With this Conduit active, Lei Shen debuffs a random player with Static Shock.
This debuff detonates after 8 seconds, dealing a large amount of damage split between all players within 8 yards.
RANGED
SPREAD AND KILL ADDS
East Conduit: while Lei Shen charges this conduit, he gains the Diffusion Chain ability.
Higher Conduit level makes the add spawned by Diffusion Chain, Diffused Lightning, stronger.
Diffusion Chain is a chain lightning that jumps to players within 10 yards. Every player hit spawns a Diffused Lightning add, which casts Chain Lightning on the raid.
STAND ON OVERCHARGE
TO AVOID THE STUN
South Conduit: while Lei Shen charges this conduit, he gains the Overcharge power.
Higher conduit levels cause Overcharge to target more players, increasing the risk of stuns in bad positions.
Lei Shen debuffs players, rooting them. After 5 seconds, a circle expands from them, dealing heavy damage and stunning any players hit.
You can avoid this stun by standing very close to the debuffed player.
EVERYONE
SOAK SWIRLIES
West Conduit: while Lei Shen charges this conduit, he gains Bouncing Bolt.
Lei Shen launches bolts at random ground locations. Soaking these swirlies splits the damage between any players hit and absorbs the bolt.
If the bolt does not get soaked, an Unharnessed Power add spawns, and the bolt bounces again.
Unharnessed Power adds only melee their target, but they need to be dealt with if they do spawn.
Phase 1 lasts until Lei Shen reaches 65% health. You'll have to deal with all of the below abilities in addition to one of the lightning conduit abilities.
The Conduit with the most Energy at the end of the phase becomes Overloaded, which covers the Conduits quadrant in lightning.
Make sure to charge the Conduit you want to Overload.
EVERYONE
MOVE TO TAKE LESS DAMAGE
TANKS
MOVE FROM THUNDER
Lei Shen targets the current tank, and a few seconds later deals a massive amount of damage. The damage is reduced the further the target is from Lei Shen.
This also increases the target's Physical damage taken by 100% for 30 seconds.
Tanks need to tank swap so that the target can run away from Lei Shen.
If Lei Shen is not charging any conduit, he rapidly discharges energy, dealing increasing Nature damage to the entire raid.
This quickly becomes unhealable, so tanks need to quickly move the boss between Conduits.

At 65% health, Lei Shen becomes immune for 45 seconds.
You'll instead have to deal with all the conduit abilities combined.
Soak Static Shock and Bouncing Bolts, Spread for Diffusion Chains, and stack for Overcharged.
The Conduit with the most Energy at the end of the phase becomes Overloaded, which covers the Conduits quadrant in lightning.
In Normal, the overloaded Conduit is destroyed, removing its ability for the rest of the fight.
In Heroic, Lei Shen gains that ability permanently.
When Supercharge ends, the conduit with the highest energy becomes Overloaded.
This covers the conduits' quadrant in lightning, reducing the amount of room you have available.
On Normal difficulty, the Overloaded Conduit is deactivated for the rest of the fight.

As in the first intermission, the most charged conduit becomes Overloaded, dealing constant Nature damage to its quadrant, further reducing your available space.
On Normal difficulty, the Overloaded Conduit is deactivated for the remainder of the fight.

For the last phase, Lei Shen retains Thunderstruck, Summon Ball Lightning, and Lightning Whip from P1/P2, while also trying to push the whole raid off the platform with Gale Winds.
Keep tank swapping for Thunderstruck and Overwhelming Power, the raid needs to spread for Ball Lightning, and continue dodging Lightning Whip.
With two quadrants covered in lightning, you'll now have even less space to deal with all the mechanics.
EVERYONE
STAY ON THE PLATFORM
The walls of the arena open up, unleashing strong winds on the raid to attempt to knock them off the platform.
These winds deal raid damage, and apply Windburn, which is a stacking debuff increasing the damage taken from Violent Gale Winds by 5% per stack.
Use your mobility CDs, avoid standing in the lightning-covered quadrants as much as possible, and stay on the platform!
