Strategy Guide
This fight has 3 phases. In the first phase, you fight Onyxia, and Nefarian joins the battle 30s later.
The 2nd phase starts when Onyxia is defeated. The room fills with lava, so split your raid evenly among the 3 safe platforms.
The final phase begins after 3min in phase 2 or once the adds are dead.
The final phase is similar to the first one, but without Onyxia.
You start the encounter fighting Onyxia, with Nefarian joining 30 seconds later.
Both drakes breathe on their target and sweep players behind them.
Tank Onyxia and Nefarian away from each other if you can't handle their proximity buff.
Adds spawn around the room, they need to be kited away from both drakes.
Onyxia passively gains energy and even more at each time Nefarian casts Electrocute.
If Onyxia reaches full energy, she wipes the raid, so try to lower Nefarian's health as much as possible before that happens.

Both Nefarian and Onyxia unleash a frontal cone breath that damages all players hit.
Additionally, it fully recharges the energy of the adds if they are hit, delaying their death.
Ensure that no one is caught in the breath.

BEFORE THE CAST
Every 25s or so, Onyxia discharges energy from her sides dealing massive damage to all players within 60yds.
Before this happens, the tank must rotate the boss to protect the raid standing on her flanks.

KITE THE ADDS
Before Nefarian lands, he launches several Animated Bone Warriors randomly in the room.
These damage all players within their landing area. The adds must be kited and managed properly.
They start with full energy that decreases over time. When it reaches zero, they collapse and deactivate, so there's no need to focus them.
If hit by Onyxia's or Nefarian's breath, they fully recharge their energy, which must be avoided through proper positioning.
They gain a stacking buff every time they hit a player, so use CC on them!

USE DEFENSIVE
TO SURVIVE
Every time Nefarian loses 10% health, he electrocutes the entire raid, dealing massive damage.
This can easily kill players, so plan carefully when to trigger this ability and coordinate with defensive cooldowns!
It also increases Onyxia energy by 25%.
Both Nefarian and Onyxia sweep all players behind them, inflicting damage and stunning them for 2s.
If Onyxia reaches full energy, she deals lethal damage to the entire raid.
Nefarian and Onyxia attack 100% faster if they are within 50 yards of eachother.

It's crucial to lower Nefarian's health in the first phase to defeat him before your off-tank gets overwhelmed by the adds.

REACHING THE PORTAL
Nefarian mind controls a random player, who then walks toward a nearby portal. Reaching the portal kills the player.
While mind-controlled, they gain two abilities: Free Your Mind, which breaks the mind control, and Stolen Power, which increases damage and healing by 4% per stack, up to 450% for 15s.
Stolen Power is spammable. The goal is to stay mind-controlled long enough to gain many stacks, then use Free Your Mind right before reaching the portal.
