Twin Empyreans is a 3-phase fight, starting with Lu'lin's Daylight phase, then Suen's Darkness phase, before combining into a Dusk phase with both bosses.
The bosses appear throughout the other phases to cast abilities.
Celestial Aid constellations can be activated to provide powerful effects.
Lu'lin summons Lurkers of the Night during the Darkness phase, which need to be revealed during Tears of the Sun and killed.
Suen gains a new ability called Nuclear Inferno.

Players can activate pillars around the room to summon Celestial spirits. This teleports them to an empty boss room and makes them re-create the mark above their head with the stars on the floor.
Each spirit grants a one-time-use ability that can aid the raid. These share a 30-second cooldown.
These abilities are refreshed at the start of the Break of Dusk phase.
Niuzao grants a defensive raid cooldown, granting every player in the raid 50% maximum health for 30 seconds.

Chi-Ji summons a flock of cranes that cross the room, killing any add they come into contact with.
Yu’lon applies a HoT to all players, healing and providing mana every second for 30 seconds.
The fight starts in Darkness. Suen disappears and reappears through the phase to cast her abilities.
The raid fights Lu'lin. This phase lasts for 3 minutes, or until Lu'lin dies.

Lu’lin spawns a Beast of Nightmares that fixates on a tank. This can only be attacked by the player it is fixated on.
Tanks should swap on this to let the fixated tank kill the add.
Any direct healing done to the fixated tank during this will give the healer a stack of Corrupted Healing.
Fortunately, smart heals like Atonement do not give stacks, so healers can mostly ignore the fixated tank during this.
Suen will appear and channel Tears of the Sun, dealing Fire damage to random players in the raid.
On Heroic, this reveals Lurkers in the Night, allowing the raid to kill them.
Suen targets a tank with a beam of light, dealing moderate Fire damage to all players within 8 yards of the target.
This mechanic is intended to target a random player, but currently only targets tanks, so be sure not to stand near them.
On Heroic, Lu'lin spawns invisible Lurkers of the Night, who cast Darkness on random players.
These need to be revealed with Suen's Tears of the Sun.
Once revealed, the raid needs to kill the adds to lower the raid damage taken.

After the Darkness phase ends, Lu'lin disappears, and Suen appears.
Suen also continues to use Light of Day during this phase, which works the same as the first phase.
Lu'lin will reappear throughout the phase to cast Ice Comet.
This phase lasts 3 minutes.

Suen charges a random player, dealing Fire damage and knocking back all nearby players.
When she returns to her original position, she leaves a trail of Flames of Passion, dealing Fire damage every second to any players standing in the effect.
EVERYONE
HIDE BEHIND COMETS
Suen channels a massive Fire AoE, dealing lethal damage unless players move behind an Ice Comet.
She will reflect and dodge any spells during this channel.
Be sure not to melt the last Ice Comet that comes before this Inferno.
EVERYONE
DODGE ICE COMETS
Frozen projectiles drop during Suen’s phase and target random players, dealing Frost damage to all players within 6 yards and leaving behind a comet.
The comet creates Icy Shadows. Standing behind the comet within the shadow reduces Fire damage taken by 60% but reduces casting speed by 10%.
This should be used during Nuclear Inferno to survive, and reduces Suens' stacking Blazing Radience. Don't melt all the Ice Comets before Nuclear Inferno!
Throughout the phase, Suen will pulse Fire damage every 2 seconds.
Each tick grants her a stacking 5% increase to Fire damage.
The closer Suen is to an Ice Comet, the faster it melts.
When Suen is standing inside a comet, her stacks of Blazing Radiance decrease.
On Heroic, make sure not to melt the last comet before Nuclear Inferno.
Suen’s tank ability slices her target, dealing weapon damage as Fire and applying a stacking debuff that increases Fire damage taken by 25% for 30 seconds.
Tanks should swap at 1–2 stacks.

6 minutes into the fight, the Dusk phase starts. In this phase, both Lu'lin and Suen will be active, and this lasts until one of the bosses dies.
Lu'lin will no longer cast Moon Lotus, Beast of Nightmares, or Cosmic Barrage. She continues using Ice Comet and gains a new ability called Tidal Force.
Suen will no longer cast Fan of Flames, Flames of Passion, or Tears of the Sun. She continues stacking Blazing Radience and still casts Light of Day.
Once one boss dies, the phase associated with the other boss starts again.
