This fight has 3 phases.
In phase 1 you fight against Anub'Arak and waves of adds. You also need to set up the room for phase 2.
Phase 2 occurs 1min30 into the fight. The boss goes underground. Dodge its spikes and deal with new adds.
Phase 1 & 2 alternate until Anub'Arak reaches 30% HP. Then P3 starts. In this phase it leeches the raid's HP, making the end of the fight relatively hard to manage.
Only 6 Frost Spheres are available for the fight.
More Nerubian Burrowers will spawn during Phase 1 and they also continue spawning in Phase 3.
Skittering Scarabs from Phase 2 are now immune to Taunt. And Nerubian Burrowers gain Shadow Strike.
Leeching Swarm is now a 30% Leech.
Anub'Arak starts Phase 1 above the ground.
Set up the room by destroying Frost Sphere flying in the air to manage adds and create some safe areas for Phase 2.

Frost Sphere are flying in the air. They drop Permafrost underneath when killed.
It slows movement speed by 80% but it has two purposes:
They prevent Nerubian Burrowers from burrowing and they stop the Pursuing Spikes progression in Phase 2.
TANKS
POSITION ADDS 12YDS
AWAY FROM EACH OTHERS.
Nerubians Burrowers spawn throughout the phase. They have 20% increased movement, and attack / casting speed increased by 100% for each Burrower within 12 yards.
The ideal way to manage this would be to position Burrowers on top of permafrost preventing them from burrowing, on each side of the boss for cleave and dps throughput.
They also apply on their target a debuff that increases physical damage taken by 25%, stacking up to 9 times.
In a 25 raid size group, we advise you to bring 3 tanks for those reasons. It's recommended to split them to avoid heavy damage on tanks.
In Heroic, Nerubian Burrowers have a new ability. They jump behind a player and deals massive damage.
This must be interrupted or stunned !
Applies a debuff on the target that increases physical damage taken by 25%, stacks up to 9 times.
Nerubian Burrowers attempt to burrow into the ground to heal to full.
Position the adds on top of Permafrost to prevent it !
Anub'Arak deals damage to the tank and freezes them in a block of ice for 3s.
In Heroic, Nerubian Burrowers have a new ability. They jump behind a player and deals massive damage.
This must be interrupted or stunned !
Applies a debuff on the target that increases physical damage taken by 25%, stacks up to 9 times.
Nerubian Burrowers attempt to burrow into the ground to heal to full.
Position the adds on top of Permafrost to prevent it !
Anub'Arak submerges below the ground 1min30 into the fight, sending spikes up and fixating random players.
You also have to manage new adds, spawing from the edge of the room.
TARGETED PLAYERS
KITE THE BOSS
INTO PERMAFROST
While underground Anub'Arak pursues a random player. While pursuing, it increases its movement speed dealing damage to all players in the way.
Targeted players must kite the boss into Permafrost, previously prepared by your assigned players.
It prevents you from taking damage and resets the boss movement speed.
Scarabs spawn and target random players. On every melee attack they inflict a stacking DoT, up to 99 stacks.
Kill them and run away to avoid stacking too much !

Once Anub'Arak reaches 30% HP, it no longer submerge and instead casts Leeching Swarm.
This is a permanent aura for the end of the fight, leeching 10% of each target's current health every 1s.
A minimum of 250 health will be leeched.
It means that your raid will take high damage and the more healers try to overheal, the more the boss will gains health.
Try to keep the raid low health to minimize the leech !
An 18s DoT on random players.
It picks 5 new targets when it expires.
In Phase 3, healers should focus their heal on those players while Leeching Swarm occurs.
This is a permanent aura for the end of the fight, leeching 10% of each target's current health every 1s.
