In P1 you fight the boss and deal with occasional adds.
At 100 energy, a ring of adds spawns. Kill one to open a space for the raid to safely cross through. The boss then returns to P1.
The boss also spawns an add on the tank when he casts Flamerift. The add must be dealt with and interrupted.
In the intermission, a second ring of adds will spawn from the center of the room. You must open a hole in both rings to survive.
You fight the boss and deal with occasional adds that fixate random players.
AN ADD SPAWNS ON TANK
DURING FLAMERIFT, INTERRUPT
AND KILL IT QUICKLY.
On Mythic difficulty, upon casting Flamerift, Eranog also opens a Greater Flamerift under the tank that spawns a Flamescale Captain add that must be quickly killed.
DODGE THE PILLARS
SPAWN TO AVOID DAMAGE
Pillars spawn, knocking back and damaging anyone nearby.
The pillars are destroyed into lines that must be dodged when the boss casts Incinerating Roar.
HEAL THROUGH THE DAMAGE.
DODGE THE LINES CREATED BY
THE PILLARS' EXPLOSIONS.
Deals a burst of AoE damage to the raid, leaving behind a stacking 28s DoT.
Active pillars explode into lines that must be dodged.
MOVE OUT WITH DEBUFFS.
DEBUFFS SPAWN AN ADD UPON
EXPIRATION. TRY TO GROUP THEM.
Several players are given a debuff. Upon expiration, puddles are left behind and spawn an add.
DODGE THE CONE. USE
DEFENSIVES IF YOU CANNOT.
Starts at 100 energy. Ends when all the adds have been absorbed by the boss.
QUICKLY IDENTIFY AND FOCUS WHICH
ADDS YOU WANT TO KILL
Mythic changes: Eranog summons a second ring of adds from the center of the room. Kill one add and switch to the opposite add on the other ring.
At 100 energy, a ring of adds will spawn at the edge of the room and walk to the center. Touching the ring will kill you. Kill one to open a space for the raid to safely cross through.
Army of Flames Beams
A beam links all the adds in P2. Crossing that beams one shots you.
Watch out where you are when P2 starts and make sure to quickly kill one of the adds to open up an escape.
GETTING HIT BY THE CONE
The boss does a cone on a random player. If you already took damage from another ability, this is likely to kill you.
Configure your boss mod to play an alert a few seconds before the cone is cast. If you can't dodge it, make sure to pop a defensive!
INTERMISSION ADDS EXPLOSION
When the intermission adds reach the boss, they explode, inflicting a heavy to lethal amount of damage.
During the intermission, once safe, stay away from the boss where all the adds will eventually stack and explode.
A general WeakAura pack that provides "icon" style mechanics/debuff as well as short descriptions for each. Pretty standard. We also recommend downloading Causese Sound addon to hear vocal announcements. Feel free to thank the amazing Causese here (sorry, no Twitter that I know of...).
Another must have by Causese if you play or are planning to play tank. It informs you when to taunt, and how your co-tank is doing with their mechanics.
Make sure to checkout the Causese Sound addon to also pair it with appropriate sound announcements.
