

Ra-den is a Heroic mode only fight, and you only get 30 attempts per week to kill him.
This is a two-phase fight, with the second phase starting at 40% health.
The fight ends when he reaches ~5% health.

Phase 1 lasts until 40% health. You have to kill orbs for Ra-den to absorb the other power, and then deal with the various mechanics.
The Anima ball is red, the Vita ball is blue.
You should kill the Anima balls, only letting a few through to deal with Unleashed Vita.
EVERYONE
KILL OR SOAK ORB WITH BOSS
Ra-den starts the fight with Materials of Creation, creating Essence of Anima and Essence of Vita. These orbs spawn behind him and move towards him.
You need to kill one orb and let him absorb the other, which will determine which abilities he has available until the next cast.
This happens roughly every 30 seconds throughout the fight.
Kill most of the Essence of Anima balls, but let a few through to deal with Unleashed Vita and clear Vita Sensitivity debuffs.
Every time Unleashed Anima or Unleashed Vita is triggered, Ra-den and his adds gain 10% increased damage done.
If Ra-den absorbs an Essence of Vita, he gains Imbued with Vita.
This gives him access to the Vita abilities.
For a majority of the fight, Ra-den will be Imbued with Vita, and triggering this causes Unleashed Vita.
If Ra-den absorbs an Essence of Anima, he gains Imbued with Anima. This gives him access to the Anima abilities.
He can only have one Imbued buff at a time. Absorbing (by moving the boss into an orb) or killing one orb makes the other orb disappear.
Gaining Imbued with Anima triggers Unleashed Anima, which you will need to do at certain points in the fight by having the tank move the boss into the red orb.

Ra-den summons a Sanguine Horror, which is similar to the Vita-equivalent Crackling Stalker. This add needs to be dealt with ASAP, if you see it at all.
The Sanguine Horror casts Sanguine Volley, dealing massive raid damage.
When Ra-den gains Imbued with Anima, he debuffs the entire raid with a ticking dot, which also increases everyone's health by 100%.
This lasts until negated (with Unleashed Vita).
Ra-den attacks the tank, debuffing them with a dot that ticks for their entire health pool and ignores most damage reduction abilities.
A single high damage attack on the tank, dealing 1 million damage. Needs to be mitigated if possible.
Ra-den summons a Sanguine Horror, which is similar to the Vita-equivalent Crackling Stalker. This add needs to be dealt with ASAP, if you see it at all.
The Sanguine Horror casts Sanguine Volley, dealing massive raid damage.
You will spend the majority of the fight with Ra-den's Vita abilities.
Make sure to put raid markers for Unstable Vita positioning!
ROTATE SOAKS
BY STANDING FURTHEST APART
Ra-den debuffs a random player with Unstable Vita. You need to run out to a mark if debuffed.
This will jump to the furthest away player, and leave behind Vita Sensitivity on any players hit by the chain.
That player then gets the Unstable Vita, and a new player needs to soak, letting the Unstable Vita jump back and forth with a new player each time.
After soaking Unstable Vita, you'll be affected by Vita Sensitivity. If you get hit by Unstable Vita while you have this debuff, you will die.
To clear everyone's Vita Sensitivity, you'll need to let Ra-den absorb an Essence of Anima.
EVERYONE
MOVE AWAY FROM ADD BEFORE IT DIES
Ra-den summons a Crackling Stalker at a random location in the room. DPS needs to kill the add.
If you are two tanking, have the off-tank grab the add up and move it away.
To reduce damage taken by Crackle, which chains on nearby players and increases in damage with each jump, you should move away from the add.
When the Crackling Stalker dies, it deals a large amount of raid damage with Cauterizing Flare, reduced the further away you are from the add.
You should knock it, or stun it and move away before it dies.
Ra-den deals fatal damage to any tank without active mitigation.
This happens roughly every 10 seconds, and you need to have your active mitigation up to survive.
This means abilities such as Shield Block, Shield of the Righteous, Shuffle, Blood Shield, or Savage Defense.

Ra-den surrenders and ends the fight at ~5% health.

STACK UP
When the Corrupted Anima dies, it triggers Twisted Anima. This deals a large amount of damage, split between the players nearby.
