Primordius begins as a simple tank-and-spank, but grows stronger as he mutates through absorbing Living Fluids.
Players gain various mutations through soaking pools, and fully mutated players deal increased damage to Primordius.

Primordius is active throughout the entire fight. The tanks need to swap on high Malformed Blood stacks, while also kiting the boss away from adds and purple pools.
EVERYONE
DON'T STAND IN FRONTAL
A frontal cone that deals massive Physical damage, make sure to face the boss away from the raid.
Do not stand in front of the boss if you are not a tank!
A stacking debuff is applied to the tank, causing high damage, lasting 1 minute.
This also increases the tanks' damage done to Living Fluids and Viscous Horrors.
As Primordius gains energy (through Living Fluids, Mutagenic Pools, and passively), he evolves.
Evolution increases his damage done by 5% and grants him a new mutation.
This effect stacks up to 3 times in Normal.
Primordius takes 75% reduced damage from non-Fully Mutated players.
DPS players should soak 5 red pools ASAP to gain Fully Mutated.
A stacking debuff is applied to the tank, causing high damage, lasting 1 minute.
This also increases the tanks' damage done to Living Fluids and Viscous Horrors.

KITE THE BOSS AWAY
If a Living Fluid reaches Primordius, or he steps on a Mutagenic Pool, he gains energy and mutation levels.
Tanks need to keep kiting the boss away from Living Fluids and Purple pools, while also avoiding stepping on Red pools.

SOAK TO SPLIT DAMAGE
With the Caustic Gas mutation, the raid needs to soak (within 25 yards of the boss) a large amount of split damage.
When Primordius has the Ventral Sacs mutation, he deals ticking raid damage every second.
When Primordius has the Volatile Pathogen mutation, he applies a debuff to a random player.
It deals heavy ramping damage and jumps to new targets if dispelled. Must be focus-healed.
With the Erupting Pustules mutation, Primordius deals damage to the raid with a shower of corrosive blood.
This is hard to avoid, so heal through the raid damage.
With the Acidic Spines mutation, Primordius periodically launches spines that deal splashing damage.
Raid should spread out at least 5 yards apart.
With the Metabolic Boost mutation, Primordius gains increased attack and movement speed, increasing the damage taken by the tank significantly.

At 5 stacks, you gain Fully Mutated, letting you deal full damage to Primordius.

SOAK POOLS
Killing Living Fluids sometimes spawns Mutagenic Pools, which are either Red (Mutagenic) or Purple (Volatile).
The red pools give players who touch them buffs up to 5 stacks, which makes them Fully Mutated.
Soaking Red pools beyond 5 stacks gives negative debuffs that need to be dispelled.
EVERYONE
AVOID PURPLE POOLS
The Purple pool spawned by Living Fluids moves slowly towards the boss.
If soaked by a player, it deals heavy damage and gives 1 harmful mutation per second.
If the Purple pool reaches the boss, it heals him for 10% of his max health and increases his current mutation level to the cap.
After soaking 5 helpful mutations, players gain Fully Mutated, allowing them to deal full damage to Primordius by ignoring Mutated Abomination.
Harmful mutation all stats by 10%. Can be dispelled, but that also dispels Fully Mutated.
Harmful mutation reducing Mastery by 20%. Can be dispelled, but that also dispels Fully Mutated.
Harmful mutation reducing Haste by 10%. Can be dispelled, but that also dispels Fully Mutated.
